Dean Huijsen Transfer News Reveals £50 Million Summer Release Clause
Liverpool are expected to be monitoring Dean Huijsen’s progression very intently between now and the end of the current campaign.
Especially as Virgil van Dijk’s future is still unclear. Huijsen played the whole 90 minutes against the Reds earlier this month and Arne Slot would have likely kept one eye on the Spanish U21 international.
Man United are another side who will be keeping tabs on Huijsen. Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim is understood to be a keen irer after the defender’s fine breakthrough season.
On the continent, the trio of Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid are also understood to be keen. Huijsen’s release clause allows him to move to any club he desires.
There will also be interest from big-spenders Chelsea and potentially Milan. Interestingly, the Italian top-flight is where Huijsen came to prominence before moving to the Vitality Stadium on a six-year deal in July 2024.
It was under the guidance of Jose Mourinho at Roma where Huijsen began to establish himself in Serie A. Doing so whilst on loan from Juventus.
On Saturday, Huijsen is set to return to action as Bournemouth take on Wolves. The best football betting sites in the UK price the Cherries as the 13/20 favourites.
