Daniel Dubois has fought for world honours twice, that Round 8 knockout defeat to Usyk in August 2023 was his first taste of world championship boxing, with the second coming last time out against Anthony Joshua, defending his IBF belt.
Rewinding a bit to the beginning, ‘Dynamite’ won his first eight fights via knockout, which included picking up the Southern Area and English Heavyweight Titles. His nineth fight is the only time Dubois has boxed the full scheduled distance, outpointing Kevin Johnson via shutout.

The first defeat of Dubois’ career came at the hands of fellow Brit Joe Joyce. Dubois vs Joyce went down for the Commonwealth, British and European Heavyweight Titles. Dubois defeated Hrgovic in Saudi Arabia via knockout, before securing the biggest win of his career last time out at Wembley Stadium against ‘AJ’. Dubois knocked Joshua down three times before ending the fight once and for all in the fifth round, solidifying himself as one of the best heavyweights in the world right now.
