Ipswich continue their Premier League relegation battle, as the Tractor Boys face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday 8th March and you can find a preview, prediction, team news and confirmed lineups below.

Crystal Palace vs Ipswich Preview

Crystal Palace earned a place in the FA Cup quarter finals in their most recent match, as the Eagles beat Millwall 3-1 at Selhurst Park.

Oliver Glasner will now be turning his attention to the Premier League and Palace have lost just two of their last 10 matches in England’s top-flight.

However, both of these defeats came at home and the Eagles have been a far harder outfit away from Selhurst Park, losing just one of their last 12 matches away from home across all competitions.

As for Ipswich, the Tractor Boys were left heartbroken in the FA Cup fifth round, as Kieran McKenna’s side threw a 1-0 lead away to draw 1-1 with Nottingham Forest after 90 minutes.

Ipswich were then beaten on penalties and can only find success through staying in the Premier League this season, which is a monumental task.

The Tractor Boys have won just three games in the league this season, beating Tottenham, Fulham and Chelsea – which could be a good sign as each of these victories came against a side from London.

These two sides have already met in the Premier League this season, as Crystal Palace secured a 1-0 win at Portman Road back in December 2024.

Crystal Palace vs Ipswich Team News

Jean-Philippe Mateta was on the receiving end of a shocking tackle against Millwall in the FA Cup and is likely to miss Saturday’s clash against Ipswich.

The hosts will also be without Joel Ward, Chadi Riad and Cheick Doucoure through injury while Will Hughes will also miss out after picking up too many yellow cards.

Kieran McKenna has a whole host of absentees, as Wes Burns, Omari Hutchinson, Sammie Szmodics, Julio Enciso, Chiedozie Ogbene and Christian Walton are all ruled out.

Axel Tuanzebe will also miss the trip to Selhurst Park while Cameron Burgess, Conor Chaplin and Kalvin Phillips will undergo late fitness tests.

Crystal Palace Vs Ipswich Confirmed Lineups

Crystal Palace vs Ipswich Prediction

The Eagles are huge favourites on UK betting sites, as they face an Ipswich side that have won just three Premier League matches all season.

With that in mind, we expect the hosts to pick up a comfortable victory at Selhurst Park and win by at least two clear goals.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 3-1 Ipswich
