Mark Robins’ injury-hit squad are suffering in the absence of Ben Sheaf. The midfielder is hoping to return from e leg injury by the end of the month, but remains sidelined for now.

And Coventry picked up yet another injury at the Weekend. Joel Latibeaudiere limped off in the second half at Vicarage Road, further shrinking Robins’s pool of available players.

A torrid 2024 for Tatsuhiro Sakamoto has continued into the new season, with the winger still out with an ankle problem.

The Japanese star hopes to return to action sometime in October.

Spurs, meanwhile, are still without Richarlison as the Brazilian continues to recover from a muscle injury that’s kept him out since August.

This means record g Dominic Solanke is likely to lead the line once more. The £65m man made his home debut in Sunday’s derby deafeat.

Yves Bissouma faces a race to be fit, meaning Pape Sarr and Lucas Bergvall are both in contention to start.

And following their substitute appearances against Arsenal, Timo Werner and Wilson Odobert may be brought in from the start for the trip to the midlands.
