The latest Casemiro transfer news from Fabrizio Romano suggests the Manchester United midfielder will be staying with the club until at least 2025.

Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray has been linked with a move for the defensive midfielder. However, Romano has confirmed that the Brazilian is happy to stay at Old Trafford for now.

On GW3 of the 2024/25 Premier League season, the 32-year-old was hauled off at half-time. An error-strewn first 45 minutes against Liverpool saw Erik ten Hag take swift action.

Furthermore, Casemiro has endured a tough time for the Red Devils since moving from Real Madrid in 2022. A series of lacklustre displays and individual errors have seen many question his ability.

In 2023/24, the former Los Blancos star really came under fire from fans and pundits. A crushing 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in May was perhaps his most damaging performance in a United shirt.

Casemiro Transfer Could See Him Move To Turkey Or Saudi Arabia

Casemiro’s transfer away from Manchester United is looking more likely after his steady decline. According to Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray are likely to declare their interest.

However, the Italian sports journalist went on to confirm that no ‘concrete talks’ had been held with the Turkish club. Nonetheless, a move to Saudi Arabia is also a plausible outcome.

The Brazilian still has over 18 months to run on his ÂŁ375,000-a-week contract which will likely limit his options. Therefore, a loan move or a switch to the Saudi Pro League are perhaps the most viable moves.

United and Casemiro have had a troublesome start to the campaign. At the time of writing, the best betting football sites in the UK have Erik ten Hag’s side priced at 9/2 to make the top four.

New g Manuel Ugarte is expected to be a long-term replacement for Casemiro. With that said, it may happen sooner rather than later if the Brazilian’s form continues to dip.
