Concern For Arsenal Fans As Bukayo Saka Limps Off Injured During England’s Defeat To Greece

Arsenal and England winger Bukayo Saka was forced off through injury against Greece on Thursday evening, and Gunners fans are nervously waiting to hear the extent of their star man’s issue.
Bukayo Saka Limps Off With Leg Injury Against Greece
Thursday evening’s Nations League clash between Greece and England saw Arsenal star Bukayo Saka forced off through injury in the second period, leaving Gunners fans concerned as their star player limped off the pitch at Wembley.
Saka was seen limping uncomfortably at around the 49 minute mark, and after Greece opened the scoring through Benfica’s Vangelis Pavlidis, the 23-year-old was withdrawn for Noni Madueke.

The in-form winger will now be assessed by England’s medical staff, as Arsenal fans await the verdict on how serious his injury is and as to whether he’ll have any involvement against Finland on Sunday evening.
It’s news that’s especially concerning for Gunners fans given Saka’s form this term, with the Hale End academy graduate currently leading as the Premier League‘s top assist maker with seven in seven so far.
He also has two league goals to his name in 2024/25 and opened his Champions League goalscoring for the season against PSG at the start of the month.
Arsenal return to Premier League action following the international window with a trip down to the south coast to take on Bournemouth, before welcoming Shakhtar to the Emirates in Europe.
Following those, they face a tough three game run in the league where they face Liverpool, Newcastle and Chelsea, with Carabao Cup and Champions League clashes against Preston and Inter sandwiched in between.
As for England meanwhile, despite a late leveller from Jude Bellingham, the Three Lions were punished late on by Pavlidis once more and fell to a 2-1 defeat, bringing Lee Carsley’s unbeaten start as interim boss to an abrupt end.
