Watch Brighton Vs Bournemouth highlights as Danny Welbeck’s late goal proved the difference in Tuesday night’s Premier League clash.

Super-sub Welbeck came off the bench to great effect, scoring the winner with fifteen minutes to play at the Amex Stadium.

The victory keeps Brighton’s winning run going, with the Seagulls now having won their last four in all competitions.

Welbeck had only replaced Joao Pedro a few minutes before netting the decisive goal.

He accelerated onto Georginio Rutter’s well-weighted ball before sliding it low across Kepa Arrizabalaga and into the bottom corner.

Welbeck’s first goal since October proved an important one, with Brighton holding on to take all three points.

The Seagulls had taken the early lead through Pedro’s 12th-minute penalty.

He was awarded the spot-kick after a clumsy challenge from Kepa and duly slotted it to put his side ahead.

Kaoru Mitoma went close to doubling the lead, hitting the post after Tariq Lamptey’s cross.

But it was Bournemouth who struck back. Justin Kluivert latched on to a from Milos Kerkez before cutting in from the left and sending a beautiful strike past Verbruggen in goal.

The Dutch keeper then made a close-range stop against Dango Ouattara to prevent the Cherries from taking the lead, before Welbeck’s winner secured victory.
