Brentford Vs Aston Villa Preview, Prediction, Team News And Confirmed Lineups

Aston Villa return to Premier League action after their victory in Europe mid-week with a tricky away trip to Brentford, and here we have the latest team news and predictions in our match preview.
Brentford Vs Aston Villa Preview
Brentford side who are just one place and four points below them in the table.
Unai Emery’s side were handily beaten 4-1 by Crystal Palace in their last Premier League outing. A result that has left them 10th in the Premier League table – five points off the top-four.
Since then they have had two victories starting with an FA Cup triumph against Cardiff City. They then put one foot in the Champions League quarter-finals after their 3-1 away victory at Club Brugge.
However, Villa’s form in Europe has been better than in the Premier League this season, and they have taken just four points from a possible 27 in their last nine away games in the competition.
Brentford are unbeaten in their last three games with victories over West Ham and Leicester followed by a draw away at Everton.
The Bees though are winless in their last six Premier League home games. Villa are looking to complete their first league double over Brentford since the 1946-47 season.
A victory for Thomas Frank’s side would put them just one point outside the top-half of the Premier League table.

Christian Norgaard (concussion) and Mathias Jensen (groin) might be able to prove their fitness in time for Saturday’s late kick-off.
However, Rico Henry (hamstring) and Sepp van den Berg (knee) are not ready to return just yet for the Bees.
Josh Dasilva (knee), Aaron Hickey (thigh), Gustavo Nunes (back) and Igor Thiago (knee) are also still out of action.
The only likely change from the draw with Everton is Norgaard to come in for Yehor Yarmoliuk.

Matty Cash, Marco Asensio and Ian Maatsen could come in with Marcus Rashford among those to be rested.
