Brazilian lawyer reveals affair with ‘lonely’ ex-West Ham cult hero Dimitri Payet

A Brazilian lawyer and social media star has revealed her affair with ‘lonely’ ex-West Ham star Dimitri Payet.
Payet, 37, departed Marseille almost two years ago in favour of a move abroad to Brazilian outfit Vasco da Gama and his family stayed behind in .
It is believed Payet’s wife Ludivine, with whom he shares four children, travels to Brazil to meet him every four months – but it appears the Frenchman developed a wandering eye.
Larissa Ferrari, who claims to be a lawyer and broker in training, shared a statement to her 65,000 Instagram followers alleging an affair with the celebrated Barclaysman.
“We got very close because I got divorced and he gets lonely a lot too. With so much closeness, the meetings became more frequent.
“I would go to Dimitri’s house every 12 days or so, and stay for three or four days. He has also always been very affectionate towards me, both in person and through messages.
“And with so much affection exchanged, it was impossible not to become attached to each other.”

Ferrari apologised to her family at the end of her statement and added she will take some time off social media for the foreseeable future.
Payet has been married to Ludivine for almost two decades and after leaving for Brazil in 2023, he publicly thanked her for looking after their children and allowing him to seek new beginnings in South America.

Payet ed West Ham in summer 2015 on a five-year deal for a reported £10.7 million fee. Proving to be such a hit, he penned a new five-and-a-half year contract with the club the next February on £125,000 a week wages.
He won Premier League Player of the Year at the 2016 London Football awards and was shortlisted for the PFA Players’ Player version. The Frenchman was handed a £1,000,000 loyalty bonus by the Hammers in an attempt to keep him at the club after Euro 2016.
In January 2017 however, Payet turned his back on West Ham and requested a move back to Marseille. A £25 million bid was accepted just days before the transfer window closed and his mural at the London Stadium was soon removed.
