Brentford Stun Bournemouth As They Come From Behind To Win 2-1 At The Vitality

Yoane Wissa and Christian Norgaard scored as Brentford came from behind to beat Bournemouth 2-1 in the Premier League on Saturday, and you can watch the full match highlights below.
Bees Sting Cherries On The South Coast
Winless in three consecutive Premier League outings, European hopefuls Bournemouth welcomed Brentford to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday evening, with just six points separating the pair in the table ahead of the action.
Last time out, the Cherries threw away a two-goal lead in the capital to draw 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur, while the Bees suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Champions League quarter-finalists Aston Villa at the Gtech Community Stadium.
With chances few and far between, it was the hosts that took advantage on the 17-minute mark. Milos Kerkez’s whipped cross took a wicked deflection off Vitaly Janelt, sending the ball beyond a hopeless-looking Mark Flekken for the opener.
Brentford weren’t going down without a fight though, and that much was evident when Yoane Wissa restored the parity after 30 minutes. Rising highest from a corner, the Congolese forward headed home his 14th goal of the season.
Antoine Semenyo came close to putting the Cherries back in front early in the second period, as his headed effort from Justin Kluivert’s inch-perfect cross rattled the crossbar.
Not long after, striking in the 71st minute, the Bees completed the turnaround through club captain Christian Norgaard. The Dane got on the end of Kevin Schade’s long throw and hammered home the winner.
With the result, Bournemouth remain in ninth place, but could drop down to 10th before the gameweek is over, while Brentford climb up to 11th and have put themselves back amongst the European conversation.
