Enjoying a perfect start to the season with nine wins from nine thus far, Celtic head to to take on Borussia Dortmund in their second Champions League league phase fixture on Tuesday.

The Bhoys got their European campaign underway in stunning fashion, hammering Slovan Bratislava 5-1 at Celtic Park thanks to goals from Liam Scales, Kyogo Furuhashi, Arne Engels, Daizen Maeda and Adam Idah.

Brendan Rodgers’ side followed that up with 5-2 and 6-0 wins over Falkirk and St. Johnstone in the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Premiership, as they sit top of the league table after six matches without yet conceding a goal.

Dortmund, meanwhile, kicked off their Champions League campaign with a 3-0 win over Belgian champions Club Brugge two weeks ago, but a shocking 5-1 defeat to Stuttgart in the Bundesliga followed that.

They have returned to winning ways since then however, most recently fighting from 2-0 down to defeat Bochum 4-2, and now occupy fifth place in the German top flight table, three points adrift of leaders Bayern Munich.

Unsurprisingly, Dortmund are heavily favoured at 12/25 among the UK’s best football betting sites to come out on top Tuesday evening, while Celtic are rated at 5/1 to snatch all three points at Signal Iduna Park.
