For the rematch on October 12th, it has been widely reported that Artur Beterbiev equally split the $20 million fight purse. This means that both Russian fighters earned a reported $10m for their 12 round undisputed world light-heavyweight title fight four months ago.

This means that both Tyson Fury got for their two fights in Saudi Arabia.

There was a guarantee of £150 million on the table for the Usyk vs Fury rematch in December. That being said, heavyweight fighters are always paid more, as well as the fact both are bigger draws worldwide, thus generating more money.

Following on from their $10m purse for the first fight, both Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev are expected to earn even more lucrative purses second time around. For the time being, exact prize money splits and purse figures are yet to be disclosed.
