The Ben Whittaker next fight is a hot topic of conversation, with his next opponent yet to be confirmed following his emphatic Round 2 knockout win against Liam Cameron in their Easter Sunday rematch.

Who will ‘The Surgeon’ fight next as he silences doubters and begins to climb back up the light-heavyweight rankings.

Ben Whittaker Next Fight: When Will ‘The Surgeon’ Be Back In Action?

Ben Whittaker was last in action on Easter Sunday as he rematched Liam Cameron following their controversial first fight back in October in Saudi Arabia.

The 27-year-old silenced all doubters in the rematch last time out, emphatically knocking Cameron out in Round 2 of their light-heavyweight rematch. This came after ‘The Surgeon’ had to deal with a lot of criticism following their first fight, with thousands of boxing fans labelling him a quitter.

Since the first fight, Whittaker has slammed critics and hit back at the negativity he received following the Cameron fight. He firmly denied all these quitting claims, and put this chapter of his career to bed after silencing the doubters by conclusively knocking Cameron out in their rematch.

Ben Whittaker’s record now stands at 9-0-1 with six knockouts. Going forward, there are quite a few names that make sense for the Wolverhampton man next, even just in the UK. There are plenty of other British light-heavyweights who would be a good next step for ‘The Surgeon’.

These include the likes of Dan Azeez, Lewis Edmontson, Lyndon Arthur, Willy Hutchinson or even Anthony Yarde. There is yet to be an official announcement regarding the Ben Whittaker next fight, but any of these names make total sense for a fight in late summer.

Going into Ben Whittaker’s next fight, ‘The Surgeon’ will undoubtedly be a firm favourite with the best UK boxing betting sites to beat whoever is put in front of him. After his last display and having teamed up with Andy Lee in Ireland, Whittaker looks to have taken his skillset to a whole new level.

Could Ben Whittaker Fight For The European Light-Heavyweight Title In 2025?

Although Ben Whittaker’s next fight is yet to be confirmed, there are several names being thrown about as a potential opponent for the 27-year-old next.

As previously mentioned, the likes of Dan Azeez, Craig Richards, Lewis Edmontson, Willy Hutchinson and Lyndon Arthur are just some of the names that makes sense for ‘The Surgeon’ next.

Now that he has silenced all the doubters and the Liam Cameron chapter of his career is over, we could also see Whittaker land on one of His Excellency Turki Alalshikh’s bumper Riyadh Season cards in the summer.

After that, you could see Whittaker in contention to fight for the European Light-Heavyweight Title. Shakan Pitters and Brad Rea are set to fight for the 175-pound EBU belt, with Whittaker perhaps eying the winner before the end of the year.

If Whittaker wins his next fight, whoever it is against, he could be in prime position for a shot at the Pitters vs Rea winner at the back end of 2025. If not, then he will undoubtedly fight for that belt or perhaps even by it to world level in 2026.

The world is Whittaker’s oyster now as he looks to continue his rise up the light-heavyweight rankings. As he continues to work with Andy Lee, we will likely see even more improvements from ‘The Surgeon’ in his next few fights.
