Watch Bayern Munich Vs Inter Milan highlights as Inter won it late on to secure a dramatic victory in the UEFA Champions League.

The visitors secured the win despite conceding an equaliser just five minutes from full time to put themselves in the driving seat heading into the second leg of this quarter-final tie.

Bayern were on top for most of the first half, though. England skipper Harry Kane rattled the post from close range, but Inter’s first shot on target gave them the lead.

In the 38th minute, Marcus Thuram’s superb backheel flick for Lautaro Martinez allowed the Argentine striker to blast the ball past Jonas Urbig with the outside of his foot for a 1-0 advantage.

But Bayern found their way back into the match in the closing stages. Veteran Thomas Muller’s equaliser looked to have rescued a draw for the German side as he turned in a low ball across the box from Konrad Laimer.

But with the seconds ticking down, Inter found an even later goal to restore their lead and take the victory.

A fast-paced counter allowed Carlos Augusto’s cross to find Davide Frattesi, who converted the winner and handed Inter a 2-1 victory heading into the return leg in Milan.

The winners of this quarter-final will go on to play either Borussia Dortmund or Barcelona in the last four.

Should Bayern make it to the final, they will have the advantage of playing at their home stadium, with this year’s final at the Allianz Arena in Munich on 31 May.
