Bayern Munich’s 2025-26 home kit has been leaked on social media, and the controversial design is drawing major criticisms from fans online.

Fans have taken to social media to slam the ‘horrendous’ design of Bayern Munich’s 2025-26 home kit after it was leaked online, with some claiming that the jersey is the club’s ‘worst kit of all time’.

The Bavarians are fresh off the back of winning a record-extending 34th Bundesliga title, reclaiming the honour from Bayer Leverkusen, but their season isn’t done yet, as they still have the FIFA Club World Cup to look forward to.

As they prepare to take on the likes of Auckland City, Boca Juniors and Benfica in the United States next month, it is expected that they will debut their new 2025-26 home kit design at the tournament ahead of the campaign.

Bayern Munich 2025-26 Home Kit Leaked: New Design Draws Major Criticism From Fans Online

Due to be released ahead of the Club World Cup, one fan looks to have got his hands on the new Bayern home kit early.

X (formerly Twitter) @xDaniel_Fabianx shared images of the jersey on his , while Footy Headlines have leaked what looks to be official stock photos of the new home kit on their website.

The design sports a large ‘M’, which comes in the form of a soundwave pattern, in front of the classic red background we’ve become accustomed to seeing on the Bavarians’ home kits throughout history.

Fans reacting to the kit on social media haven’t been shy in sharing their displeasure at the design. One er, @Jorgo089 on X, said: “It’s the worst kit in 125 years of this club’s existence.”

Adidas’ branding on the jersey comes in all white, while there is also a standard white collar and patches on the sleeves.

It is expected that the kit will be on sale before the end of May or in early June 2025, ahead of the Club World Cup.

Bayern Munich 2025-26 Official Away Kit

As for the 2025-26 away kit, Bayern released it on 5 May and debuted the top in their final league game of the season against Borussia Monchengladbach on 10 May.

The kit has been designed with the 20 year anniversary of the Allianz Arena in mind. It draws inspiration from the sunrise views of the Bavarian Alps, which can be seen from the stadium, primarily in white with grey and coral accents.

There is also a camouflage pattern on the front that is said to be influenced by the architecture of the Allianz Arena, and the back collar boasts a small logo depicting the shape of the venue.

It is currently on sale on the Bayern Munich website, available to purchase in the UK and globally, with men’s and women’s replica jerseys costing £84, while authentic jerseys cost £130, and kids’ jerseys cost £63.

Bayern Munich 2025-26 Third Kit Leaked

There have also been leaks of Bayern’s new third kit for the 2025-26 season.

The kit is mainly black in colour, with logos and the classic Adidas Trefoil logo coming in off-white. There are also chequered patterns on the cuffs and collar, along with a khaki-coloured trim.

It is expected that the third kit will go on sale in August or September 2025.
