Bayern Munich keep rolling in the Champions League with another easy win to knock out Bayer Leverkusen

The second leg was always going to be a feisty one between two Bundesliga rivals and it was evident early on that there was no love lost between the teams with vicious tackles flying in left right and centre.
Konrad Laimer picked up the game’s first yellow card after just eight minutes as he pulled down Jeremie Frimpong who was breaking into the Bayern half at some speed.
Kingsley Coman was then cautioned seconds later for an off the ball foul as he dragged down an attacker when chasing the ball back towards his box.
Harry Kane had the first real chance of the game after 15 minutes but he Englishman’s strike from the edge of the box was tame and straight down the throat of Lukas Hradecky.
It was he defence of both teams that came out on top in the first half, with very few chances given away as Leverkusen looked to chip away at the three goal deficit.
Five minutes into the second half finally Bayern were able to break the Leverkusen back line down, with the striker able to bring down a free kick in the box and squeeze the ball in for his 10th Champions League goal of the campaign .
With the game and the tie already settled, Leverkusen began to take more chances going forward and in the 70th minute they were punished by a quick Bayern move.
After winning possession back high up the field, Serge Gnabry linked up with Kane who found himself free on the edge of the box. With a lofted , Kane was able to spot Alphonso Davis flying into the box at speed and the Canadian poked home a second to confirm Bayern’s place in the quarter finals.
