Who Will Be Involved In 2025 Baller League? Gary Lineker, John Terry and KSI Among List Of Star Names

The revolutionary ‘Baller League’ is coming to the UK in 2025, as a host of celebrities are set to be involved – but who can we expect to see?
The Baller League was originally put forward in by Mats Hummels and Lukas Podolski, as the tournament generated huge success in a short period of time.
This caught the attention of football fans across the globe and the tournament will now become bigger and better as it enters the United Kingdom – being ed by a host of star names.
Among the list of celebrities is British YouTube star, KSI, who has been unveiled as the president of the UK Baller League.
The internet sensation has over 25 million subscribers on his main channel, 13m followers on Instagram and 4.8m monthly listeners on Spotify.
He is not the only star name from the world of social media, as Simon Minter (Miniminter), Tobi Brown (TBJZL) and Morgan Burtwistle (Angry Ginge) will also be involved – taking control of their own teams within the league.
The Baller League will be made up of teams that are managed by a celebrity and the celebrities could be from the online world or former footballers.
John Terry and Luis Figo will take charge of their own teams, while Gary Lineker, Micah Richards and Alan Shearer will also forces to manage a side.
A trio of Arsenal invincibles will also take the reins of a team in the Baller League, as Robert Pires, Jens Lehmann and Freddie Ljungberg act as co-managers.
Ian Wright will work alongside England women’s star, Chloe Kelly, to manage their side and TV Presenter will be ed by Juventus women’s forward, Alisha Lehmann.
There is also a US version of the Baller League, however, the only confirmed names for that are Ronaldinho and internet superstar, iShowSpeed.

Who Will Play In 2025 Ballers League?
The Baller League 2025 roster will be made up of players that have gone through an extensive trials process, with events taking place in Manchester and London this year.
Entrants consisted of futsal players, former academy players, former professionals and recently released players.
The former professionals consist of Adrian Mariappa, who played for the likes of Watford and Crystal Palace, as well as Ciaran Clark who played for Aston Villa and Newcastle.
Baller League 2025 Format and Rules
Each week the tournament will take place as 12 teams compete in a six-aside format and the goal is to reach the final play-off in May where the overall winner will be crowned.
On each night of action, six matches of 30 minutes will be played, which will go on for 11 weeks before the final showdown.
Each half will be 15 minutes and in the final three minutes of each half a ‘shock rule twist’ will be introduced – which includes things like 3v3, long range goals count as double and goalies cannot use their hands.
Another interesting feature is the implementation of MLS style penalties, where the forward goes against the goalie in a one vs one instead of a typical penalty.
When is 2025 Baller League?
The opening match of the 2025 Baller League in the United Kingdom is set to take place on March 24th, running for 11 weeks straight and ending in May.
Each set of matches will be played on a Monday evening and before the opening week, a draft to complete the squads will take place at 6:30 on March 10th – the draft will be available on YouTube and Twitch.
How To Watch 2025 Baller League in the UK?
Sky Sports have purchased the broadcasting rights for the tournament on a one-year deal and it will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event.
It will also be available on NowTV and each broadcast will be hosted by the presenting team of Chunkz and Olivia Buzaglo.

What is the Baller League Draft?
As the teams have not been selected, the managers will take part in a televised draft where they will pick their players one by one.
Each team will be made up of 12 players, allowing for a healthy amount of competition and this takes place on YouTube on March 10th.
