Az From FPL Blackbox Bids To “Come Out Swinging” For The Final GW38 Fantasy Football Fixtures

Az from FPL Blackbox is back one final time this season with his popular Fantasy Football tips as action concludes with Gameweek 38.
If you’re still clinging to hopes of a last-minute win of your mini-league or edging closer to that rank you definitely meant to hit weeks ago, then you’re not alone!
I am right there with you, scrolling through stats, weighing up risks and hoping to nail that final-day haul.
With just one gameweek to go, I’ve picked out my three favourite Fantasy Football tips for Gameweek 38 – to (hopefully) end the season on a high.
Let’s go out swinging with AZ FPL_Blackbox!
AZ Fantasy Football Tips For Gameweek 38
MID – Antoine Semenyo (£5.7m, 7.3%)
Bournemouth head into the final gameweek completely free of pressure, facing an already relegated Leicester side.
It is a promising fixture for the Cherries’ attackers to rack up some goals, and Semenyo stands out as the most appealing option.
Leicester’s defensive woes away from home have been glaring all season and they have yet to keep a clean sheet on the road, conceding a staggering 44 away goals.
In light of this haunting history, I am not feeling confident that GW38 will be the time they manage to keep a clean sheet.
Semenyo’s role on the right means he is in the ideal position to exploit Leicester’s vulnerabilities on the left flank, where they have conceded the most shots.
With nothing to lose, Bournemouth will be eager to give their fans a match to , and I’m backing Semenyo to put on the best performance.
MID – Mitoma Kaoru (£6.3m, 6.1%)
Whilst some teams are firmly on the beach, ironically Brighton are not able to whip out the bucket and spade just yet. There’s a lot riding on this match as the Seagulls will be hoping to secure a place in Europe next season.
Contrast this with newly crowned Europa champions Spurs, who have kept a grand total of zero clean sheets in the past four league games, conceding ten goals in that spell. Mitoma is in a prime position to take advantage of this poor defensive record.
The Japanese winger has scored in three of his past four appearances – an impressive feat, especially considering each of those goals was scored after coming off the bench, all within less than 30 minutes of play.
With so much on the line, I expect Hürzeler to go all in and Mitoma looks primed to capitalise on any defensive lapses.
DEF – Benjamin White (£6.1m, 2.9%)
Okay, this one might be a little dull if you’re looking for a final game week thrill.
However, if you’re on the hunt for a defender after Arteta confirmed that Timber and Saliba will both be missing the final game of the season, then look no further than Ben White. With Arsenal’s second place position firmly secured, there is risk of rotation.
But, in light of the defensive injuries, White is pretty firmly nailed on at right-back. It is safe to predict that Arsenal will be the side pushing forward for goals. Southampton have failed to score in their past three matches, racking up only 16 shots in that time.
At less than 3% owned, White could be a great differential to give your team one final boost.
Additionally, with Raya in contention to win the Golden Glove, a clean sheet for the final game week of the season will be a priority.
That further gives Ben White the seal of approval. So, there you have it! Three punts to help you squeeze out every last point from a chaotic, unpredictable, rollercoaster of a season.
Whether you’re chasing glory or just wanting to round off the season with a green arrow, now is the time to back your gut and have some fun with it.
Good luck!
