In contrast, Ipswich find themselves in 19th after a poor start to their Premier League campaign, winning just two of the opening 17 matches.
Kieran McKenna’s side were thrashed in their last Premier League fixture, as Alexander Isak scored his first Premier League hat trick for Newcastle in a 4-0 victory.
