Arsenal have been urged to bring in West Ham star Mohammed Kudus to fill the void left by Bukayo Saka in the club’s latest transfer news update.

Saka is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after he was forced off in Arsenal‘s 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.

Mikel Arteta revealed that he expected football until March.

Arsenal Transfer News: Mohammed Kudus Is The “Perfect Replacement” For Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka has been the Gunners’ best player this season, scoring five goals in their challenge for the title. The England international also became the first player to record double digit assists before Christmas in Europe’s top five leagues.

However, his absence now presents Arteta with a problem of whether to cope without the winger or sign a replacement.

The Spaniard suggested they wouldn’t look to the January window for a short-term replacement. But ex-Arsenal midfielder Adrian Clarke believes the Gunners should raid London rivals West Ham for their stunning winger Kudus.

“Mohammed Kudus is a player that Arsenal have had a long-term interest in,’ Clarke told talkSPORT. “He is a perfect Bukayo Saka replacement who can also do a job up front.

“Wonderful traveller with the ball at his feet. Could Arsenal test West Ham United’s resolve with a with an offer this month?”

Misfiring Gunners Need More Options Up Top

Arsenal’s problems at striker have been apparent this season. While Gabriel Jesus has scored a flurry of goals in the festive period and Kai Havertz has been a fairly solid option, the Gunners are looking for a more consistent goal threat.

Kudus could offer vital goals from the wing, given he has scored 17 goals in two seasons in a struggling West Ham side.

Signed for £38million from Ajax in the summer of 2023, Kudus has caught the attention of Man City and other big Premier League sides.

Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Wolves star Matheus Cunha.
