The latest Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain transfer news has revealed that Leicester and Wolves are interested in g the Besiktas star.

According to the Daily Mirror, Oxlade-Chamberlain is keen to return to England after struggling for game time with the Turkish giants.

The former Three Lions midfielder has scored just once in six Super Lig appearances so far in the 2024/25 season.

However, new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did hand him a rare start against Antalyaspor in the 1-1 draw on Sunday. Reviving hopes he does have a future with the Black Eagles.

Even if that is the case, the 31-year-old is still eyeing a return to the Premier League. A loan move is the most likely option at this stage with his contract set to end in Turkey next year.

Since leaving Liverpool after a successful six years on Mersyside in 2023, Oxlade-Chamberlain has made just 35 outings at the Besiktas Stadium.

Furthermore, fiancee Perrie Edwards has also itted that she finds life ‘hard’ living outside of the UK. The Little Mix star would also like to return to familiar surroundings.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Transfer News Reveals Premier League Interest

As per the reports from The Sun, relegation battlers Leicester and Wolves are both keen on acquiring the services of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Both sides view the 31-year-old midfielder as an ideal addition to help starve off the threat of relegation. The duo are understood to be monitoring Oxlade-Chamberlain’s availability before the transfer window shuts.

Not only does the Besiktas man have a number of major trophies to his name, Oxlade-Chamberlain has a wealth of top-flight experience in England.

He is also extremely versatile which would prove vital for either side as they battle the drop. Oxlade-Chamberlain started off as a winger before taking on a central midfield role.

The only slight concern will be the number of injuries Oxlade-Chamberlain has endured. His time at Arsenal and Liverpool were often blighted with set backs.

Nonetheless, the Foxes and Old Gold view the 35-cap Three Lions international as a viable gamble worth taking. Especially if Besiktas allow him to move on.

Meanwhile, both sides are back in Premier League action this weekend. Ahead of GW24, the best football betting sites in the UK have all the latest markets and odds.
