Playing 192 games, Young scored 15 goals, winning three Player of the Month awards and the title in the 2012-13 season.

Until his unfortunate cardiac arrest during a Euro 2020 match, Eriksen was one of the best playmakers in the league. The Danish midfielder was one of Tottenham’s finest. Leading up to his career break, Eriksen played 226 league games for the club, scoring 51 goals and claiming 65 assists.

The forever-young James Milner has played a whopping 637 Premier League matches across Leeds United, Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Manchester City, Liverpool, and now Brighton. The 39-year-old has found the back of the net 55 times and claimed 89 assists.

Milner, who has played three leagues this season, won the title with both Manchester City and Liverpool. Between 2010-11 and 2014-15 seasons, Milner played 147 league matches for the Cityzens, scoring 13 goals and winning the title two times (2011-12, 2013-14). In the summer of 2015, Milner moved to Liverpool, and five years later, won the championship with the Reds. Before closing his Liverpool chapter, Milner played 230 Premier League games, scoring 19 times and claiming 27 assists.

Leading from the front, Fernandes scored one goal and provided two assists as Man Utd claimed a 3-0 victory over the Foxes on March 16.

The 30-year-old playmaker has faced his fair share of criticism since ing Manchester United, with many questioning his leadership skills. But when push comes to shove, Fernandes is almost always the player to make the difference.

The No. 8 has arguably been the only bright spot of Man Utd’s disastrous 2024-25 Premier League campaign. The former Sporting star has played 28 games, recording eight goals and nine assists.

De Bruyne began his journey with Chelsea, but all of his exploits have been for his current employers.

De Bruyne is the most decorated player on this list. Not only is he a six-time Premier League champion, but he has also won the two most esteemed individual awards in his domain. De Bruyne, who sees his Man City deal expire at the end of the current campaign, has won two Player of the Season awards (2019-20, 2021-22). Additionally, De Bruyne is a three-time winner of the Playmaker Award (2017-18, 2019-2020, 2022-23), which recognizes the player with the most assists over the course of a PL campaign.

Had it not been for injuries, De Bruyne would have sured Ryan Giggs (162 assists) by now.

Sterling has played for four of the six biggest teams in the English top flight. While his spells with Chelsea and Arsenal have been mediocre at best, he played some scintillating football at Liverpool and Manchester City. During his seven-year stay at the Etihad Stadium, Sterling scored 91 goals and provided 41 assists in 225 Premier League games, winning the title four times.

He is a four-time Player of the Month, has claimed two Goal of the Month awards, and saw his strike win the Goal of the Season accolade in 2019-20. The best of the lot came at the end of the 2021-22 season, as he won the Golden Boot (23 goals) alongside Mohamed Salah.

At the top of the hill sits ‘Egyptian King’ Mohamed Salah, having scored 184 times and claimed 86 assists in 292 Premier League games. It has been a sensational turnaround for the Liverpool star, who, like Kevin De Bruyne, also failed to make it at Chelsea.

After proving his mettle at AS Roma, Salah ed Liverpool in the summer of 2017. He exceeded expectations in his debut season, scoring a then-record 32 goals in 36 league games, and claiming the Golden Boot. His heroics also gave him his first and only Player of the Season award. Salah has since added two more Golden Boots (2018-19, 2021-22) and one Playmaker award (2021-22) to his collection.

His finest moment in a Liverpool shirt came in 2019-20, as the Merseysiders ended their 30-year wait for the top-flight title.
