Byron currently drives the No. 24 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports in the Cup Series and the No. 7 Chevrolet for Spire Motorsports in the Truck Series.
Christopher Bell understood. The NASCAR Cup Series driver didn’t appreciate going hard into the inside wall at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, but braked against blaming Denny Hamlin for causing the Lap 52 incident. Hamlin bumped Bell from the lead while attempting to provide a bumper push. Bell lost control of the No. 20 Toyota after […]
With more than a quarter of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season complete, a few trends are developing as the circuit emerges from its Easter weekend vacation for Sunday’s Jack Link’s 500 at Talladega Superspeedway: Two organizations are positioning a pair of pilots for championship runs. Hendrick Motorsports’ William Byron, the points leader with 346, […]
With William Byron threatening to turn Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series event into a rout, a late caution created additional Darlington Raceway drama. A ho-hum Goodyear 400 suddenly turned interesting. Through two-plus stages, Byron led from the pole, often holding a multi-second advantage. Lurking among the top-10, however, Ryan Blaney made his move late, making up more […]

Byron’s hot qualifying lap was clocked at 28.774 seconds, edging runner-up Ryan Preece (28.857 seconds) for his second pole position of the season and 15th of his career. […]
Six races into the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season, it’s fair to say that some degree of parity exists. After all, in those first half-dozen events, all three manufacturers — Chevrolet, Toyota and Ford — have been to Victory Lane. Also, the Wood Brothers’ Josh Berry scored his first career victory, and no one driver […]
The winner of three consecutive NASCAR Cup Series events, Christopher Bell seeks to become the ninth driver since 1972 to visit Victory Lane four Sundays in a row. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver won at Atlanta, COTA and Phoenix and entered the week favored to capture Sunday’s Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube at Las […]
NASCAR Cup Series driver William Byron may have captured the pole position for Sunday’s Shriners Children’s 500 at Phoenix Raceway, but could have lost a friend in the process. “I don’t like William Byron anymore,” Joey Logano said with a laugh, as reported by NASCAR.com. “Man, that stinks. I just got through telling (crew […]
Three races into the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season, Christopher Bell already owns a pair wins — coming over the past two weekends. So, Bell must feel like he’s the driver to beat this year, right? Well, not so fast. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver is taking a cautious, humble approach on the heels of […]
NASCAR Cup Series Christopher Bell may have criticized his driving down the stretch of last Sunday’s event at the reconfigured Circuit of The Americas, but the race winner praised the “clean,” competitive driving he engaged with Kyle Busch, William Byron, and Tyler Reddick. Chaotic, crash-filled endings often highlight the final laps of stock-car races. […]
Hendrick Motorsports teammates Kyle Larson and William Byron will “crossover” and alternate seats for Spire Motorsports during three NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races. “One of the coolest things of having a Craftsman Truck Series team is to have the crossover from Hendrick Motorsports and Hendrick Automotive Group,” Spire Motorsports co-owner Jeff Dickerson said, as […]
