Miami Heat
The Miami Heat is a basketball team that competes in the NBA’s Eastern Conference Southeast Division. The Miami Heat formed in 1988 as an expansion team. After a few years of mediocrity, the Heat became championship contenders in the late ‘90s and won their first championship in 2006.
Notable former players include Dwyane Wade, Shaquille O’Neal. Wade and O’Neal led the Heat to its 2006 title, while Wade, James, and Chris Bosh helped the Heat claim NBA Finals titles in 2012 and 2013. A unique thing about the Heat? It retired the No. 23 in honor of Michael Jordan, even though he never played for the Heat.

Jimmy Butler skipped morning shootarounds on multiple occasions and insisted on private flights separate from the Miami Heat’s team charter, according to Jake Fischer in the latest Stein Line report. It was this type of behavior and demand that contributed to the Heat suspending him for conduct detrimental to the team. Speaking with Sirius XM […]
Jimmy Butler appeared to possibly troll his Miami Heat bosses on Thursday, implying he’s been let down by them in recent times. The Memphis Grizzlies and Milwaukee Bucks are among the teams that have been informed not to trade for Jimmy Butler, per reports from NBA insiders Chris Haynes and Kevin O’Connor. Jared McCain’s injury clouds the first rookie ladder of 2025 (here’s our last of 2024, as a refresher). Despite his strong production and part-time offensive engine work, McCain’s time missed exempts him. No other rookie has come close to his output, but quite a few have some cases as the highest impact first-year pro. As […]
The Heat have punched back at Jimmy Buter’s shenanigans, announcing he will be suspended seven games for “multiple instances of conduct detrimental to the team over the course of the season and particularly the last several weeks.” After losing to the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night, Butler was seething during his post-game press conference and […]
