Michigan cornerback Will Johnson has suffered a lower-body injury. Will the Wolverines be without their All-American defender?

Will Johnson Expected To Be Out On Saturday

No. 1 Oregon.

Johnson left Michigan’s Oct. 19 game against Illinois with an unspecified foot injury. Johnson did not play in the Michigan State game last week.

Missing Johnson is a huge loss for the Wolverines’ defense facing an Oregon offense that averages 300.0 ing yards and 35.0 points.

Johnson is expected back this season, but it’s unknown when it will happen.

Widely considered the top cornerback prospect in the NFL draft, Johnson was named the defensive MVP of the 2023 National Championship Game.

Michigan Faces Off Against The No. 1 Team In The Country

A year removed from winning the National Championship, the Michigan Wolverines are an entirely different team.

The biggest difference is at quarterback, a position the Wolverines can’t seem to figure out after J.J. McCarthy bolted to the NFL.

The Wolverines will once again turn to former walk-on Davis Warren at quarterback. Warren has 567 ing yards, three touchdowns, and six interceptions in four games.

Oregon, the No. 1 ranked team in the country, is a 14.5-point road favorite against Michigan.

Michigan (5-3) and Oregon (8-0) kick off from the Big House at 3:30 p.m. ET.
