ESPN Will Offer 11 Broadcast Presentations For Ohio State Vs. Notre Dame

The 2025 College Football Playoff National Championship features No. 8 Ohio State taking on No. 7 Notre Dame from Atlanta, Georgia. ESPN is offering 11 broadcast presentations of the game called the MegaCast.

How To Watch ESPN’s Main Broadcast For Ohio State Vs. Notre Dame

Kickoff between Notre Dame is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 20, at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The main telecast on ESPN headlines the MegaCast. This is the “normal” broadcast, or the one fans are used to seeing when they watch college football.

Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will call the CFP National Championship. This marks the duo’s 11th straight national championship and their 29th college football season as a commentating team.

Holly Rowe and Molly McGrath will report live from the sidelines.

Former Big Ten referee Bill Lemonnier will cover the championship as ESPN’s rules analyst.

What Are ESPN’s Alternate Presentations Of the CFP National Championship?

Besides the main telecast, ESPN will offer 10 alternate broadcasts of the CFP National Championship.

ESPN2 will air Field with The Pat McAfee Show. ESPN host and college football analyst Pat McAfee will anchor a broadcast where he roams the sidelines and provides commentary.

McAfee will be ed by his radio show colleagues — AJ Hawk, Darius Butler, Connor Campbell, Ty Schmit, and Tone Digs.

McAfee will also invite other ESPN personalities and celebrities on Field , depending on who else is on the sidelines.

ESPNU will provide coverage of the Command Center, a multi-angle presentation with statistics, SkyCam angles, and cameras on the head coaches.

SkyCast will be offered on ESPNEWS. This above-the-field view is behind the offense on most plays.

ESPN Deportes will carry the Spanish-language call, with announcers Eduardo Varela, Pablo Viruega, Katia Castorena, and Ciro Procuna.

ESPNRadio’s broadcast will feature Sean McDonough and Greg McElroy on the call, with Ian Fitzsimmons and Katie George reporting from the sidelines. Matt Austin will be available as the rules analyst.

Use the ESPN app for four presentations: hometown radio broadcasts, the All-22, and the halftime bands.

The National Championship will be presented in 4K for the first time. 4K is available on Comcast, DIRECTV, Dish Network, Optimum, Sling TV, Verizon, and YouTube TV.
