Titans Bench Will Levis

Titans head coach Brian Callahan did not name Levis’ replacement. However, Mason Rudolph is the likely candidate to take over at quarterback.

After throwing his third interception of the game in Week 15’s 37-27 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, Levis was replaced by Rudolph.

Levis finished Sunday’s game by completing 8-of-12 es for 89 yards and three interceptions. In relief of Levis, Rudolph completed 21-of-26 es for 209 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.

Is Will Levis Done In Tennessee?

Benching Levis might be the final nail in the coffin for his tenure in Tennessee.

Levis, a 2023 second-round pick, has struggled all season for the Titans. Levis’ biggest issue has been turnovers, as he’s fourth in the NFL with 12 interceptions.

Levis has thrown for 1,916 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions with a 30.2 QBR.

Meanwhile, Rudolph signed with the Titans this past offseason to serve as Levis’ backup. Rudolph has played in five games this season, with four coming while Levis was recovering from a sprained AC t in his right shoulder.

Rudolph has ed for 1,015 yards with six touchdowns and five interceptions. The former Steeler has been under center for two of the Titans’ three wins.

With Levis still on a rookie deal and Rudolph set to become a free agent, the Titans will likely be in the market for a new quarterback in the offseason.

The Titans (3-11) play the Colts (6-8) on Dec. 22 at 1 p.m. ET.
