Mason Rudolph Signs With Steelers

After a year away in Tennessee, Rudolph is coming back to the Black and Yellow.

Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, Rudolph has agreed to a two-year, $8 million deal with the Steelers.

Rudolph’s contract includes $4.5 million guaranteed.

Rudolph spent the 2024 season with the Titans as a backup to Will Levis.

Rudolph became the starter in Week 4 after Levis was injured. The veteran quarterback went 1–4 in his five starts with the Titans.

Rudolph, 29, appeared in eight games for the Titans, throwing for 1,530 yards, nine touchdowns, and nine interceptions with a completion percentage of 63.7%.

Rudolph now returns to Pittsburgh, the team that selected him in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

During his six seasons with the Steelers, Rudolph owns a record of 8-4-1 as the starter. Rudolph took over as the starter at the end of the 2023 season, leading the Steelers to a 3-0 finish and a spot in the postseason.

Will Aaron Rodgers Sign With The Pittsburgh Steelers?

The Rudolph g does not affect the Steelers’ pursuit of Rodgers.

Per Gerry Dulac, the Steelers have made an offer to Rodgers. The organization now waits for the 41-year-old quarterback to make a decision.

Rodgers, who was released from the Jets upon the start of the league year, is contemplating whether to continue his career or retire. The New York Giants have also shown interest in g Rodgers.

In all likelihood, a new quarterback will be under center for the Steelers in 2025.

Justin Fields already signed with the Jets this offseason. Russell Wilson, the Steelers’ other 2024 quarterback, is meeting with the Cleveland Browns and the Giants this week.
