Davis, who writes for 2025 NCAA Tournament.

In the South Region, Davis has No. 1 Auburn taking on No. 2 Michigan State in the Elite Eight. Davis originally liked No. 3 Iowa State to reach the Final Four. However, Davis changed his pick after learning that star guard Keshon Gilbert would miss the tournament.

Davis has Tom Izzo and the Spartans advancing to the Final Four.

The West Region is highlighted by an Elite Eight matchup between No. 1 Florida and No. 3 Texas Tech. Davis initially had No. 2 St. John’s taking out Texas Tech in the Sweet 16. However, Davis switched his pick to the Red Raiders, citing J.T. Toppin as a reason why Tech will beat St. John’s.

Davis has Florida reaching the Final Four.

The East Region is where Davis believes an under-seeded team can reach the Elite Eight. Davis likes No. 6 BYU to run the table and play Duke in the East Region final.

Despite injuries to Cooper Flagg and Maliq Brown, Davis likes the Blue Devils to “win the whole thing.”

In the fourth and final region, Davis has the No. 1 Houston Cougars defeating the No. 2 Tennessee Volunteers to reach the Final Four.

Davis wrote, “I believe Houston’s physicality, tenacity on the glass, and the magnificent play of junior point guard Milos Uzan will send the Cougars to the Final Four.”

When it’s all said and done, Davis has Duke defeating Florida in the National Championship.

As mentioned above, Davis has the No. 6 BYU Cougars reaching the Elite Eight.

The Cougars are a high-scoring team that won nine straight games before their loss to Houston in the Big 12 Tournament. Davis likes BYU to defeat No. 11 VCU, No. 2 Wisconsin, and No. 2 Alabama before falling to No. 1 Duke in the Elite Eight.

If you like carnage, then you’ll appreciate the South Region on Davis’ bracket. Davis likes three double-digit seeds — including No. 10 New Mexico, No. 12 UC San Diego, and No. 13 Yale — to advance to the Second Round.

Furthermore, Davis has San Diego, a popular upset pick, to advance to the Sweet 16 before losing to No. 1 Auburn.

Davis’ other double-digit seed to reach the Sweet 16 is No. 13. High Point. Davis likes the Panthers to knock off No. 4 Purdue in the First Round and No. 12 McNeese in the Second Round.
