What Is Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith About?

A few years after the events of Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith is the final film in George Lucas’ prequel trilogy.

The film follows Anakin’s fateful transformation from Jedi Padawan to Sith Lord, who goes to the dark side and becomes Darth Vader.

Revenge of the Sith also depicts the fall of the Jedi Order, the end of the Republic, and the rise of the Galactic Empire.

Revenge of the Sith’s cast includes Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Natalie Portman as Pé Amidala, Samuel L. Jackson as Mace Windu, Ian McDiarmid as Palpatine, Christopher Lee as Count Dooku, and Frank Oz as Yoda.

Lucas wrote and directed Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.

Star Wars fans have begged for a theatrical release since 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker.

These fans will get it with Revenge of the Sith, and the odds are that it will generate an opening weekend north of $25 million (+156).

That’s a strong total, considering it’s been 20 years since Revenge of the Sith hit theaters.

It’s a big week for Star Wars fans. Not only is there the re-release of Revenge of the Sith, but Andor season 2 premiered its first three episodes on Disney+.
