Pittsburgh Steelers Legend Has Harsh Words For Aaron Rodgers

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been patiently waiting all offseason for Aaron Rodgers to make a decision on his future. The process has been drawn out, in typical Rodgers fashion, and there are still question marks surrounding the team and their direction at quarterback.
Terry Bradshaw Calls Out Aaron Rodgers For Situation With Steelers
One Steelers legend has had enough of the indecisiveness, and had some choice comments this week regarding the situation.
Terry Bradshaw knows a thing or two about playing quarterback in Pittsburgh. The now-76-year-old spent the entirety of his playing days in the Steel City, and brought home four Super Bowl titles while winning league MVP in 1978. He remains one of the most popular and recognizable figures in the rich history of the franchise.

He still cares deeply about the team that he played for, and was asked about his thoughts on the Rodgers situation during a radio interview on Tuesday.
“That’s a joke. That to me is just a joke. What are you going to do? Bring him in for one year, are you kidding me? That guy needs to stay in California. Go somewhere and chew on bark and whisper to the gods out there.”

Aaron Rodgers had an unsuccessful attempt at a career revival in his short time with the New York Jets. He showed flashes at the tail end of the 2024 NFL season that left the door open for continuing his career, but the Steelers may be the only viable option that remains for the 2025 campaign.
The only quarterbacks on Pittsburgh’s current roster are Mason Rudolph, Skylar Thompson, and rookie Will Howard. It was expected that the team would look to upgrade from the lackluster talent in their QB room, and the potential connection between Rodgers and the Steelers has been well known throughout the offseason.
After missing essentially the entire season in 2023, Rodgers had a solid enough showing this past year. He came up just shy of 4,000 ing yards for the season and threw 28 touchdowns, but was picked off 11 times and only managed to lead the Jets to a finishing record of 5-12.
