Nick Sirianni: New Contract Makes Him One Of Highest-Paid NFL Head Coaches

After winning Super Bowl LIX, the Nick Sirianni with a contract extension that makes him one of the highest-paid NFL coaches.

Nick Sirianni Agrees To Contract Extension

Sirianni was set to enter the final year of his initial contract with the Eagles in 2021.

Now, the 43-year-old gets a significant pay raise and job security. The Eagles did not announce the of the deal. However, Sirianni’s extension likely puts him on the list of the highest-paid head coaches in the NFL.

“As an organization, we have always strived to create a championship culture of sustained success,” Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie said in a statement. “Nothing is more important to fostering such an environment than having tremendous leadership. Nick has embodied everything we were looking for in a head coach since we hired him four years ago. His authentic style of leadership, football intelligence, ion for the game, and growth mindset have helped to bring out the best in our team. I am excited for what the future holds for the Philadelphia Eagles.”

Sirianni is 48-20 in the regular season with a 6-3 record in the postseason. Sirianni’s .706 winning percentage is the third-highest for a head coach in the Super Bowl, behind John Madden and George Allen.

Sirianni is the only coach in NFL history with four playoff appearances, two conference titles, and a Super Bowl in his first four seasons.

Sirianni’s contract , including the years and salary, were not believed.

However, it’s widely believed that the Eagles paid Sirianni top dollar to remain the head coach for the foreseeable future.

Andy Reid ($20 million) and Sean Payton ($18 million) are the two highest-paid head coaches in the league. Sirianni’s new deal probably did not eclipse $18 million.

However, Sirianni’s number probably comes in between $12 million and $17 million, which would put him into the top eight for highest-paid coaches.
