Team Needs
Cornerback
The Packers saw three of their cornerbacks depart in free agency, and the Jaire Alexander’s future with the team is anything but solidified. This creates a glaring need in the secondary for Green Bay, which they should at least one of their top picks to address. They brought in a couple of free agents to help their defensive backfield, but cornerback is still a pressing need.
Wide Receiver
The Packers have a stable of young wide receivers, but none have elevated themselves to a true number 1 option. Their futures are unknown as well, as nearly their entire depth chart have rookie deals that will expire within the next two years. Add in the fact that Christian Watson will likely miss at least the first half of the 2025 season while recovering from a torn ACL, and Green Bay could be looking to make a pick at the position within the first two rounds.
Defensive Line
They finished in the middle of the pack when it came to putting pressure on opposing quarterbacks in 2024, but the Packers could still look to bolster the defensive line for the season. It would be especially so if they were unable to upgrade the secondary, which would put more strain on rushers to get to the quarterback quickly.

Gutey was the only GM at McMillan’s private workout he recently held.
