Dallas Cowboys Draft Picks

Whatever the Cowboys do, the media will talk about it, and that’s precisely what Jones wants.

The Cowboys have 10 draft picks, with half coming in rounds 6-7.

With most of their holes on offense, expect Dallas to use high draft capital on impact players like wide receiver and running back.

2025 NFL Draft: Dallas’ Team Needs

Wide Receiver

CeeDee Lamb is one of the three best receivers in the NFL, but he desperately needs a running mate, and Stephen Jones knows it.

Dallas’ lack of a No. 2 wide receiver limits their ing game ability, since Lamb will constantly face double coverage.

Jalen Tolbert, KaVontae Turpin, Jonathan Mingo, and Paris Campbell are the receivers in the running to be Prescott’s No. 2 option.

In other words, Jerry needs to draft a wideout.

Running Back

Dallas is objectively a better team when they can run the ball.

Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard thrived behind a stout offensive line.

After Rico Dowdle left during free agency, the Cowboys signed Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders, two guys who would be better off being the second option.

It’s time to find a three-down back in the draft.

Offensive Line

For the last 11 seasons, the Cowboys had future first-ballot Hall of Famer Zack Martin line up at guard.

That won’t be the case in 2025, as Martin retired in February.

It’s unlikely that Dallas will ever find another lineman as good as Martin, but they need to take a shot at finding a decent replacement.
