The 2025 NFL Draft to help out Anthony Richardson. View the Colts’ picks, team needs, targets, and mock draft.

Indianapolis Colts Draft Picks

The Colts enter year three under Shane Steichen, who is 17-17 in two seasons.

The Colts have seven picks in the draft, including the No. 14 pick.

While the draft remains important, the biggest task for Steichen this season is to figure out if Richardson can be their starting quarterback moving forward. If so, great. If not, Daniel Jones will be called upon early and often.

2025 NFL Draft: Indianapolis Colts Picks

  • Round 1: No. 14
  • Round 2: No. 45
  • Round 3: No. 80
  • Round 4: No. 117
  • Round 5: No. 151
  • Round 6: No. 189
  • Round 7: No. 232

2025 NFL Draft: Indianapolis’ Team Needs

Tight End

No team needs a tight end more than the Colts.

Indianapolis’ tight ends ranked 31st in receiving yards last season (467 yards).

The trio of Josh Downs, Anthony Gould, and Ajou Ajou is doing Richardson no favors.

The Colts must find a tight end, and it should be early.

Offensive Line

The departures of center Ryan Kelly and guard Will Fries mean Indianapolis must find their replacements.

The team will likely turn to Tanor Bortolini at center.

Left guard is set with Quenton Nelson. However, right guard is a position of need and will likely be addressed within the Colts’ first three picks.

Edge Rusher

The Colts defensive line ranked 26th in sacks last season (36).

Help is on the way at the edge, with Samson Ebukam expected to return from an Achilles injury.

However, it’s no guarantee that Ebukam returns to his production from 2023 with 9.5 sacks. Chris Ballard should find a freak athlete at edge who can get after the quarterback.
