One of the biggest stories to watch thisGiannis Antetokounmpo is in question, and there are rumors flying that he may have played his final game with the team that drafted him back in 2013.

3 NBA Teams That Could Trade For Giannis Antetokounmpo

Which teams around the league might be interested in putting together a trade package for the two-time league MVP? We take a look at three possible options below.

Brooklyn Nets

There is a thinking that Antetokounmpo is looking for his next destination to be in a big market for a change, and one of those options is the Brooklyn Nets.

After five straight playoff appearances, Brooklyn has posted a combined winning percentage of .353 over the last two seasons. They are in need of a roster shift in order to get back into contention, and bringing in a superstar via trade is likely their Plan A. They have a treasure chest full of first round picks at their disposal, including an incredible four first rounders for the 2025 NBA Draft, and tradable contracts in order to try and get a deal done.

But depending on what the return package is, there may not be the adequate talent on the team to entice Antetokounmpo into ing the squad. Based on the betting odds, however, no team has a better chance of landing the Greek Freak (+300).

Golden State Warriors

Could all of the photoshop images created by Warriors fans of Giannis Antetokounmpo in Golden State garb finally come to fruition?

Depending on how things shake out during their current playoff run, the Warriors could be looking to shift around the current roster in order to maximize what will likely be the final couple of years of Steph Curry’s career. Antetokounmpo would immediately make the Dubs a contender in the West, and it is an option that they’ll likely explore.

Would the Bucks be interested in any package that Golden State has to offer in return? And if all of their depth with guys like Jonathan Kuminga, Brandin Podziemski, and Moses Moody are dealt away for him, would Giannis even be interested in ing the team?

Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets are one of the young, up-and-coming teams in the NBA, but appear to be a piece away from being a legit contender in the Western Conference.

They were somewhat exposed in their first round series against the Warriors. Houston struggled at times to find a reliable scoring option, which is certainly needed for any team that hopes to make a deep playoff run. They should be one of the teams that goes star hunting on the trade market this summer, and Antetokounmpo may be one of their top targets.

It would take a pretty serious roster shift, but Houston has plenty of young assets that might entice Milwaukee. It can be argued that few NBA teams would be able to put together a more attractive package for the Bucks to consider.
