2025 NBA Conference Finals: Knicks Tickets 493% More Expensive Than Thunder

The final four teams have been decided in this year’s NBA Playoffs, and we are on the verge of kicking off both Conference Finals series. There are storylines aplenty following each of the four franchises, but according to the ticket prices for the opening games, the New York Knicks are the massive draw this postseason.
Huge Difference In NBA Ticket Prices For Conference Finals Series
Fans in New York haven’t had much to cheer about over the last 25 years. What should be one of the marquee franchises in the NBA, the Knicks have enjoyed very little success since their Finals appearance back in 1999. They’ve finished first in their division just one time over that span, and had never advanced past the semi-finals in the East after the year 2000.
Until this season. The Knicks finished the 2024-25 regular season with a 51-31 record, and earned themselves the 3-seed for their efforts. After defeating the Pistons in Round 1 and the knocking off the Celtics last week, New York has advanced further than they have in any of the previous 25 seasons.

In this year’s Eastern Conference Finals, they’ll be taking on the Indiana Pacers, and it won’t be cheap to get into the building.
According to SeatGeek, the lowest get-in price for ission to Madison Square Garden for Game 1 sits at $653. Buying that seat would put you in the second-to-last row of the stadium, nearly in reaching distance of the stadium’s roof. A single ticket for a lower-level seat will run at a minimum of $1,000, with the lowest cost for lowest bowl currently sitting at $1,130.
Seats immediately behind the Knicks’ bench are listed at $16,344 a pop.
It puts the prices in Oklahoma City to shame. This year’s Western Conference Finals will be played between the Thunder and Timberwolves, which will be met with far less demand than the series out East. The get-in price for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Monday currently sits at $110, meaning that Knicks tickets are nearly 5 times more expensive this week.
If the Pacers happen to push the series to seven games, then the final and deciding contest will be played back in Madison Square Garden. If that is the case, then we might see some of the most expensive tickets in NBA history within the next two weeks.
