NASCAR Cup Series Würth 400 Odds, Predictions & Best Bets At Texas Motor Speedway

Christopher Bell understood. The NASCAR Cup Series driver didn’t appreciate going hard into the inside wall at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, but braked against blaming Denny Hamlin for causing the Lap 52 incident.
Hamlin bumped Bell from the lead while attempting to provide a bumper push. Bell lost control of the No. 20 Toyota after the tap, collecting Chris Buescher.
“We were certainly just trying to gain momentum,” Bell said, as reported by NASCAR.com. “It’s just speedway racing. It’s Daytona and Talladega … you have to push. I don’t blame Denny at all. You have to be pushed, and push, and I got turned.”
Hendrick Motorsports teammates Kyle Larson and William Byron each received +500 sports-betting odds, becoming favorites to capture Sunday’s Würth 400, per BetOnline Sportsbook. At +800, Bell and Hamlin each drew the third-best odds.

Würth 400 Storylines
- Ryan Preece’s career-best P2 was wiped away during a post-race inspection. Preece’s No. 60 Ford had three shims instead of the required two. After showing potential with three consecutive top 10s in March, Preece recorded a P26 (Darlington), P20 (Bristol) and falling to P38 Sunday. Highlighted by a stage win, the RFK Racing driver ranks No. 18 with 202 points.
- All four of Hendrick Motorsports’ machines placed in the top 10 at Dega, paced by Larson’s P2 after starting P25. Is Larson rolling to his second circuit title? Outside of a P37 at Darlington, the 2021 champion compiled two wins among five top-fives and six top-10s during his past seven starts.
- Brad Keselowski’s struggles continue. Following a Stage 1 crash last Sunday, the 2012 Cup champ placed P36, the seventh outing he’s finished outside of the top 25. He ranks No. 32 in the driver standings.

Würth 400 Predictions and Picks
Here are our best NASCAR Cup Series bets for Sunday’s Würth 400 at Texas Motor Speedway:
William Byron (+500)
The circuit points leader ed a quiet P3 last Sunday, ing his seventh top 10 in 10 outings. Over his past three starts at Texas, the co-race sports-betting favorite has one win, led 48 laps and hasn’t finished below P7.
Tyler Reddick (+700)
Enduring an up-and-down campaign, Reddick remains winless with five finishes of P14 or worse during his past seven starts. Texas couldn’t be coming quickly enough. Since the start of 2022, Reddick visited Victory Lane once and ed two top-fives. His 143 laps led during that time rank second to Larson’s (195).
Chase Elliott (+2000)
Elliott has not taken the checkered flag in 37 starts. The 2020 circuit champion’s lone points race since 2023 came last year at Texas. He’s said he’s learned some lessons during the skid. Will they show up during his title defense?
