Corey Heim is not rushing things.

Despite dominating the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this season, the 22-year-old top driving prospect appears content to continue refining his skills outside of the Cup Series.

Scheduled to compete in Sunday’s Cracker Barrel 400 and Friday night’s Rackley Roofing 200, Heim remains focused on the Truck title chase. With four wins and nine top-10 finishes in 11 starts, he leads the circuit with 511 points, 100 more than second-place Chandler Smith.

He won last Friday’s event at Charlotte Motor Speedway, his fourth victory this season. He has nearly three times the number of laps led (754) than any other driver.

Heim (+125) was also tabbed as the sports-betting favorite to visit Victory Lane Friday, according to BetOnline Sportsbook. Heim earned favorite status over Cup regular Kyle Busch (+275), who compiled 67 career truck titles.

In his second Cup outing this season for 23XI Racing, Heim will pilot the No. 67 Toyota. He has yet to be offered a full-time Cup ride for 2026 and doesn’t seem to care much.

The Athletic reported that Heim remains content to continue competing in the TRICON Garage’s No. 11 Toyota truck, while making spot starts on the Cup and Xfinity circuits next season.

Heim placed second and third in the Truck Series’ final drivers’ standings the past two seasons.

No current Truck pilot has won at the Nashville Superspeedway, the site of Friday night’s race. Busch captured the 2010 and ‘11 wins at the 1.33-mile oval.

Defending race winner Christian Eckes, who now competes on the Xfinity Series, won the event last year after leading all 150 laps.
