Corey Heim, the NASCAR  Craftsman Truck Series points leaders, remains poised to return to the Cup Series this weekend at Kansas Speedway. He will pilot 23XI Racing’s No. 67 Toyota on Sunday as part of the 38-machine field.

Heim, who captured the Truck circuit’s checkered flag last Friday at Texas Motor Speedway, survived constant chaos through the first two stages and started moving through traffic in the final segment. In overtime, Heim continued to pace the field, but Ben Rhodes challenged from behind.

Heim’s decisive move came along the final stretch of the last lap, making his third trip to Victory Lane this season. Dating back to the start of 2024, Heim compiled nine wins in 31 starts.

Can he carry his front-running momentum to the top circuit?

Heim competed in three Cup events last season, ing an average finish of 25.3.

Jesse Love, a NASCAR Xfinity Series regular, will make his third career Cup start for Richard Childress Racing, driving the No. 33 Chevrolet.

Last season’s AdventHealth 400 featured the closest-ever finish in series history, with Kyle Larson edging Chris Buescher by 0.01 seconds.
