Micah Parsons Contract Extension Talks

The Dallas Cowboys entered the 2024 offseason knowing they had three star players looking for contract extensions: Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Parson.

Before Week 1’s game against the Cleveland Browns, Prescott signed a four-year, $240 million contract extension, which includes $231 million guaranteed and an $80 million g bonus.

With an average of $60 million per year, Prescott is now the highest-paid player in the NFL.

Lamb also secured his bag, g a four-year, $136 million contract extension, which includes $100 million guaranteed and a $38 million g bonus.

Parsons is in the fourth season of his rookie deal, with one year left after the Cowboys picked up his fifth-year option in April.

It’s a matter of when, not if, Parsons signs a contract extension. The extension will likely take place next offseason instead of during the regular season. However, Parsons tells fans not to worry because he wants to be in Dallas.

“I know I’m going to be a Cowboy,” Parsons said on The Edge podcast (via Bleacher Report). “I’m just focused on winning games… For me, the contract is not really what I’m worried about.”
