Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe is one of the biggest wild cards remaining in the 2025 NFL Draft. Entering Day 2, where will Milroe hear his name called? Here are three potential landing spots for the Milroe.

New Orleans Saints

First-year head coach Kellen Moore has a quarterback conundrum.

Derek Carr is dealing with a shoulder injury that might lead to missing time this season.

The other three quarterbacks on the Saints’ roster include Spencer Rattler, Jake Haener, and Ben DiNucci.

While some mocks called for the Saints to take a quarterback at No. 9, New Orleans elected to take Texas offensive lineman Kelvin Banks Jr.

Even if Carr plays, the Saints might want to take a flyer on a quarterback like Milroe, who can sit and learn for the first year.

The Saints own picks No. 40 (Round 2), No. 71 (Round 3), and No. 93 (Round 3).

Los Angeles Rams

There were rumors that Sean McVay considered taking Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart in the first round.

However, the Giants traded back into the first round to take Dart one pick before the Rams.

The Rams then traded out of the first round with the Atlanta Falcons but gained an important 2026 first-round pick.

The Rams have the talent to win the Super Bowl, especially with Matthew Stafford at quarterback.

Even if McVay rolls the dice on Milroe, there will be no quarterback controversy in Los Angeles. Stafford could play for the next year or two and then turn the offense over to Milroe.

It’s a risk, but if any coach can successfully develop a quarterback, it’s McVay.

Los Angeles owns picks No. 46 (Round 2) and No. 90 (Round 3).

Cleveland Browns

Cleveland needs a quarterback. However, the Browns also have needs at other positions, such as linebacker and running back.

The Browns addressed linebacker to kick off Round 2 by selecting UCLA’s Carson Schwesinger.

The Browns will likely take a running back with their next pick in the second round. However, Cleveland does own two third-round picks.

If Milroe falls to the third round, perhaps head coach Kevin Stefanski wants to take a chance on Milroe, a mobile quarterback who loves to throw the deep ball.

Henderson could be selected with one of Cleveland’s two second-round picks.

Cleveland owns picks No. 36 (Round 2), No. 67 (Round 3), and No. 94 (Round 3).
