HBO and NFL Films announced the teams that will be on Hard Knocks for the 2025 season.

Buffalo Bills, NFC East Will Be On Hard Knocks This Summer

The Bills are getting their moment in the spotlight.

Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Buffalo Bills will premiere on Tuesday, August 5, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO. The season will consist of five episodes and premiere every Tuesday through September 2.

The Bills are led by quarterback Josh Allen, the 2024 NFL MVP.

Allen and the Bills have won five straight AFC East Division titles. However, Buffalo’s season has ended in the postseason with a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in four of the last five seasons.

Bills training camp will be held at St. John Fisher University in Pittsford, New York.

Later this year, Hard Knocks: In Season with the NFC East will debut in December. The four teams include the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys, and New York Giants.

The Eagles are the defending Super Bowl champions. The Commanders will try to repeat their success from 2024, which ended with a loss in the NFC Championship.

The Dallas Cowboys have a new head coach, Brian Schottenheimer, while New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll heads into this season on the hot seat.

Both editions of Hard Knocks will be available to stream on HBO Max. Liev Schreiber will narrate both series.

North Carolina Was Supposed To Be On Hard Knocks

HBO was having a difficult time finding an NFL team to agree to Hard Knocks. So the network went outside the box.

The first college team to appear on the Emmy-winning HBO show. North Carolina is coached by the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach Bill Belichick.

However, the deal eventually fell apart, and HBO began searching for a new team.

In a piece published by Jordon Hudson, Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend, reportedly drove HBO away from North Carolina after requesting to be heavily involved in the series.

Having a college football team on Hard Knocks will have to wait at least one more season.
