For the first time, HBO’s award-winning series Hard Knocks will follow an entire division. The docies will focus on the four teams in the AFC North: the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Like other iterations of the show, Hard Knocks: In Season brings fans behind the scenes for each organization as they battle for AFC North supremacy.

The featured coaches include Pittsburgh’s Mike Tomlin, Batlimore’s John Harbaugh, Cincinnati’s Zac Taylor, and Cleveland’s Kevin Stefanski.

The AFC North is home to several of the league’s most popular and recognizable players, including Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, TJ Watt, Myles Garrett, and Russell Wilson.

“Last season, the AFC North became the first division ever to have all four teams finish with a winning record, making it the perfect place to launch this new approach to Hard Knocks, said Keith Cossrow, Vice President and Head of Content for NFL Films. “We thank the Bengals, Browns, Ravens, and Steelers for the opportunity to showcase some of the greatest rivalries in football and present the intensity of a playoff chase from all four corners of this incredibly competitive division.”

AFC North Standings

Heading into Week 12, the Pittsburgh Steelers are the AFC North’s top team with a record of 8-2. The Steelers are coming off an 18-16 win over the division’s second-place team, the Baltimore Ravens, at 7-4.

The Cincinnati Bengals are in third at 4-7, followed by the Cleveland Browns in last place at 2-8.

This marks the Steelers’ first appearance on Hard Knocks. The Bengals appeared twice in 2009 and 2012. The Browns starred on the show in 2018, while the Ravens became the first team on the original Hard Knocks in 2001.

Hard Knocks: In Season with the AFC North premieres on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO. It will also be available to stream on Max. New episodes will appear on subsequent Tuesdays through the end of the NFL regular season and continue into the NFL playoffs in January 2025.
