Harrison Burton may be settling back into a full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule this season, but the former Cup regular remains poised to give Rick Ware Racing an organizational milestone.

After qualifying for the 2025 NASCAR All-Star Race with his surpring win at Daytona last summer, Burton will return to Cup racing this weekend at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

A multi-generational family driver, Burton, 24, will pilot the No. 51 Ford on Sunday, the first time RWR will field a machine during the all-star exhibition showcase. Cody Ware, who regularly pilots the No. 51, is slated to switch to the No. 15 machine and start the All-Star Open, with hopes of qualifying for the main event.

“Being a part of the NASCAR All-Star Race for the first time is a milestone moment for our organization,” team owner Rick Ware said, as reported by NASCAR.com. “It’s an honor to have a place in the main event, and we’re just as proud to provide Harrison the opportunity to compete in the All-Star Race. He definitely earned his spot and he deserves to be here. It’s a big opportunity for both of us.”

Burton’s win last year helped Wood Brothers Racing earn its 100th Cup win, but it didn’t save his seat. Josh Berry was hired during the offseason to replace Burton. Berry has qualified for the playoffs.

Burton, meanwhile, ranks 10th in the Xfinity drivers’ standings, posting six top-10 finishes in 12 starts. In his past three outings, he has placed P3 (Rockingham), P6 (Talladega) and P6 (Texas). Before moving to Wood Brothers in 2022, Burton qualified for the Xfinity Series’ postseason in consecutive seasons for Joe Gibbs Racing (2020-21).

With the Cup Series taking a week off from points racing, Kyle Larson remains the sports-betting favorite to earn his second circuit championship, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Christopher Bell (+450) was tabbed with the second-best odds, followed by Denny Hamlin and Ryan Blaney, who were both listed at +650.
