Elliotte Friedman floated a theory that a reunion between Boston Bruins defenceman Nikita Zadorov and his former team the Vancouver Canucks was not a crazy idea.  Since then, people have been talking about the possibility.  To that, we say, enough already.  In sports, it is wise never to say never; however, it is improbable that Zadorov will re the Canucks.  That ship sailed over the summer when the Canucks did not re-sign him.

Zadorov signed a six-year deal with the Bruins, a team Jim Montgomery, that does not mean they would want to trade Zadorov.  He just got there.

This is how crazy internet theories get started.  Friedman did it it was a random thought, but the number of people who ran with it and tried to contrive it into a semblance of reality is shocking.

The Canucks have moved on as has Zadorov.  The Bruins are Zadorov’s sixth NHL team.  He was ready to settle his family into a city for the long haul.

It will be interesting to see how the Bruins fare with Joe Sacco.  They won their first game with him as the interim head coach on Thursday over Utah. A power play goal sealed the deal for the 1-0 win.  Scoring on power plays has been a huge problem for the Bruins.
