Colorado head coach Travis Hunter are the two “most bankable prospects” in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Coach Prime Praises Shedeur Sanders And Travis Hunter

On Friday afternoon, 16 Colorado players participated in a showcase event in front of NFL scouts, coaches, and personnel executives from every NFL team.

The two players who drew the most attention were Shedeur Sanders and Hunter.

While speaking with NFL Network, Coach Prime had high praise for his two best players.

“He [Shedeur] and Travis Hunter, to me, are the most bankable two young men in this draft,” Sanders said to NFL Network. “What can surprise you? Shedeur has given you four years of nothing but consistency with some of the dysfunctional situations that we placed him in. But he still exceeded all expectations.”

Sanders is regarded as the second-best quarterback prospect in this year’s draft behind Miami’s Cam Ward.

This past season, Sanders set school records for ing yards (4,134), ing touchdowns (37), and completion percentage (74.0%).

Meanwhile, Hunter is either the first or second prospect on most big boards. Hunter’s versatility was on full display in 2024.

Hunter recorded 96 catches for 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns as a receiver. As a cornerback, Hunter recorded 35 tackles, 11 breakups, and 4 interceptions. Hunter captured the 2024 Heisman Trophy.

“Ain’t nobody like him,” Coach Prime said about Hunter. “We can search far and near, you’re not going to find anyone like him.”

Where Will Shedeur Sanders And Travis Hunter Get Drafted?

Barring a change of heart, Ward will be the likely No. 1 pick for the Tennessee Titans.

The Cleveland Browns have pick No. 2. The Browns need a quarterback, and Sanders could fill that void. If they’re content with starting Kenny Pickett, then the Browns could take Hunter or Carter.

The same can be said for the New York Giants at No. 3, who could take Sanders or Hunter.

If Sanders slides to the New England Patriots at No. 4, he might fall down the board because the next group of teams already have quarterbacks.

Hunter is the bigger lock to be taken in the top four, while Sanders remains a wild card.
