A 23-year NASCAR Cup Series veteran, Kyle Busch failed to visit Victory Lane in 2024 for the first time since ‘04. He also mustered just five top-five finishes and 10 top-10s, his lowest outcomes since becoming a full-time pilot in his third campaign.

One of the national series’ all-time winningest drivers, Busch compiled 63 career Cup wins, but has not claimed a win since the second race of 2023 at Fontana.

The two-time circuit champion (2011 and ‘19) has yet to win the Daytona 500 during his hall of fame career, but BetOnline Sportsbook lists Busch (+1100) as one of the top sports betting favorites to claim the season-opening event Feb. 16.

Brad Keselowski also drew +1100 odds, followed Ryan Blaney (+1200), who seeks his second crown in three seasons.

If last weekend was any indication of Busch snapping his winless skid, there were questions if the No. 8 Chevrolet can rebound in 2025. After a number of run-ins, Busch earned a P15 finish during Sunday night’s Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium.

Busch’s slump continued early on the quarter-mile oval when Daniel Suarez’s machine bumped into Noah Gragson’s, causing Busch to spin out, resulting in a pit stop.

“Can’t f****** turn,” Busch screamed over his team radio.

Busch was lapped twice over the opening 79 laps.

Will Busch be able to rebound in Daytona?
