Davante Adams Trade: Raiders WR Prefers Two Teams

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams informed the organization that he would prefer to be traded. Where will Adams end up? Find out Adams’ preferred trade destinations below.
Davante Adams Preferred Trade Destination No. 1 – New York Jets
Two teams high on Davante Adams’ wishlist of places to land – if not at the very top – are the Jets and Saints, per league sources.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the first team on Adams’ wishlist is the New York Jets.
The Jets have Aaron Rodgers, Adams’ former teammate with the Green Bay Packers. The team inquired about Adams’ availability last season, but no deal was done.
A reunion between Rodgers and Adams makes sense on both sides. The Jets are in “win now” mode, so trading for Adams could be the move that ends the team’s 13-season playoff drought.
When Adams and Rodgers played in Green Bay, they formed one of the league’s best tandems. Adams accumulated 622 catches for 7,590 yards and 69 touchdowns in 108 games with Rodgers.
With Garrett Wilson struggling, Adams could either take over the No. 1 receiver duties on the Jets or open up better matchups for the third-year pro.
The Jets also have the best odds (+115) of landing Adams.

If not the Jets, Adams would like to play with the New Orleans Saints.
Adams and Carr were teammates at Fresno State. Adams also came to the Raiders to play with Carr. However, the Raiders moved on from Carr after the 2022 season.
According to Schefter, the Raiders are willing to trade Adams if they receive a second-round pick and additional compensation.
The Jets are more equipped to complete the trade because of their cap space — $15,350,706 compared to New Orleans’ $3,265,633 — and draft assets.
However, Adams’ salary is $17.5 million this season, with $13.5 million still owed. Adams is under contract for 2025 and 2026, but his annual salary skyrockets to $36.25 million for each of those seasons.
If Adams is traded, he will likely need to agree to a restructured contract.
