If Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams could reunite with one quarterback, it would be Aaron Rodgers. Find out what Adams said about a potential reunion with Rodgers.

Davante Adams Comments On Possible Reunion With Aaron Rodgers

On an episode of the Club Shay Shay podcast, Shannon Sharpe asked Adams if the Jets offered the Raiders a package for Adams. Would the star wide receiver be open to playing with Rodgers?

The answer is a resounding yes.

“Well, I’ll answer it like this: If I’m gonna be reunited with anybody, it would be Aaron,” Adams told Sharpe.

Adams explained how he has never asked to be traded from the Raiders. According to Adams, the media drove the trade narrative.

“There’s a lot of stuff last year in the media with them asking … they talk about whatever without me even being involved in it,” Adams said. “It ended up getting all the way to the point where it got in the locker room and people was thinking that I was the driving force.”

Adams later clarified his commitment to the Las Vegas Raiders under first-year coach Antonio Pierce.

“I’m actively on the Raiders. What do I look like sitting here talking to other people about being on another team? And that’s how I still feel about it right now,” Adams said. “I’m locked in with the Raiders, and I really feel good about this team, and as far as I know they feel good about me.”

Adams’ agents even stepped in this past week to strengthen Adams’ position with the Raiders.

“This is baseless, unfounded speculation, and Davante is expected to be with the Raiders as there has been absolutely no trade talk — period,” agents Kenny Chapman and Frank Bauer told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Aaron Rodgers Comments On Re-Teaming With Davante Adams

Rodgers made headlines this past weekend at a celebrity golf tournament when he commented on potentially playing again with Adams.

“I love Davante,” Rodgers said. “Can’t wait to play with him — again.”

Rodgers and Adams were one of the best quarterback-wide receiver tandems in football during their eight seasons together in Green Bay.

With Rodgers as his quarterback, Adams ed 669 receptions, 8,121 yards, and 73 touchdowns.
